The minimum requirements/skills for becoming a CMMP are:

  • Properly configure/troubleshoot FTP connections
  • Ability to create/troubleshoot keyboard macro
  • Backup/recovery of critical information
• Database issues
  • Understand Database creation/lifetime
  •  Demo database versus store database
  •  Creating new databases
  •  Recovering corrupt databases
  •  Importing standard and custom data
  •  Exporting data
• Pricing Strategy
  •  Starting with a profit plan
    • Identify Targeted Backdoor Margin and need for improvement
  • Understand pricing strategy development
  • Maintain runs and relationships
  • Utilize blind classes
  • Using hierarchy as an advantage
  • Utilize/enforce a solid naming convention
  • Rule manipulation
  • Modify existing rules
  • Change rounding options for existing rules
  • Understand pitfalls of custom groups and Sku level exceptions
