Restore Backup Data Files
Every time you process import files in the Import Data screen, the files are automatically backed up. The backup file can easily be restored and re-processed in Margin Master. Technically, when a file is backed up, the files extension is simply changed to BAK from whatever it was. For Custom import files, their name will also reflect the Type of file, and be changed to BAK.
As show here, we can see multiple RIV and RIH (Activant) reports that have been backed up. Also, there are some custom files here. Usually, the Ace Data file is also listed.
By placing a check mark on the left of the desired file or files, and clicking Restore Selected, these files will be effectively restored and will be available in the Import Data Screen for future processing.
Note: Only one backup file exists. When a new file is going to be backed up, it replaces the current backup.
