Reasons SKU's Do Not Import
Multiple SKU's:
When you are having trouble getting a group of SKU's to transfer into Margin Master, make sure that the RIV, & RIH reports have had a chance to fully run before transferring into Margin Master. You may try re-running the reports in network access and monitoring their progress in the RABO screen. You may also monitor the progress in the FTP Transfer Utility screen in Margin Master. Simply click the refresh button until the file size stops changing. Once this is complete import your store data and check the SKU's again. If the SKU's are still not transferring into Margin Master, check your RIV & RIH reports in your MMASTER queue. If these reports are set with any parameters in the From/To option, clear those parameters, resave the report to the queue, and re-run your queue.
Single SKU's
When you are having trouble getting a SKU to transfer into Margin Master, follow the instructions listed above. If you have done these steps & you are still having trouble with this SKU, check the IMU. Below you will see a list red flags that would prevent these items from being included in the RIV & RIH reports.
Red Flags:
- Lower case letters. Activant does not like lowercase letters. These may be found in the SKU itself, the location code, the description, etc. If you do find a lower case letter, correct it to a capital letter, save the change in the IMU & re-run your queue.
- Check the CODES tab. Is the "Keep Stocking Info?" option coded with a Y or an N? This should be a Y.
- Also under the CODES tab, check the Kit Record. Is it coded with a Y or an N? This shoud be an N.
As is the case anytime you make changes to your store data, you will want to run your MMASTER queue & import it into Margin Master so it will reflect these changes. If you have any questions contact a support representative, they will be happy to help.
