Profit Analyzer
The Profit Analyzer screen gives you the ability to identify which areas of merchandise in your store are generating the most profit dollars. This screen has been put into place to aid dealers in the decision making process when it comes to maintaining a positive price image and the creation and implementation of a Pricing Strategy.
When viewing the Profit Ananlyzer, you are given several options to choose from when formulating the over all chart. You have the ability to view Sales, Cost of Goods Sold, Overall Margin Percentage, Gross Margin Dollars, and the Percent of Total. The chart then breaks your store information down by items that are Blind, Competitive, Non-Competitive, and Sensitive, as well as by dollar ranges. In the chart below, we have chosen to view only Gross Margin $ and % of Total. If you look below, you have the ability to see the gross margin dollars generated on Blind items less than $5.00. You can see that 26.44% of gross profit is generated by the Blind items less than $5.00. You can also see that 71.52% of the overall gross profit dollars are generated by the blind items alone.
You can access the Profit Analyzer a couple of different ways within the Margin Master working screen. The Profit Analyzer button has been made available on the right hand side of the Margin Master Screen. Clicking this button will immediately open up the Profit Analyzer, basing its information on the criteria selected within Margin Master. Another way to access the Profit Analyzer is through the One Click Tab. You will find a button within that tab that says Profit Analyzer. This will display the information for your entire organization.
