Print Screen
Clicking the print button will bring up the Margin Master Print Screen.

SEND TO
PRINTER  For stores that want to print a paper copy of their information, Select Printer as the destination.  You can control which records, and how many are printed by modifying the "Print What" section. Full details for this are found below.

TEXT FILE  Instead of sending the reports to a printer, some users may want to send their report to a Text File instead. This is useful if you would like to import this data into another application, or to enable the data to be imported back to an Activant POS system.  You can control which records, and how many are exported to the text file by modifying the "Print What" section. Full details for this are found below.

EXCEL  Selecting the Print To Excel option will create a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet that has all of the columns and rows of information displayed in the Sku list on the Margin Master Screen. The Sku list will be transformed into an Excel Spreadsheet complete with column headers. Once in Excel, users can further manipulate the data, and create their own custom reports.

Exclude Future Price = $0
When Creating the Custom File, you can select if you want Sku's with a Future Price equal to $0.00 to be exported. This can be useful if you do not wish to simply export price changes, but every Sku. NOTE: Users Must Have Microsoft Excel installed on their PC for this to work.

CUSTOM TEXT FILE  The Custom text file will be a comma delimited file that contains all of the column heading and information displayed in the Sku Listing section of the Margin Master Screen.  Typically this file is used by stores looking to import Margin Master information into another program like a bin tag printing program. These files can also be opened directly in Microsoft Excel.

PRINT WHAT  The print what section is capable of controlling the price change records you will be printing or exporting.

All Changes: Selecting this will Print/Export ALL Sku's that have a FUTURE PRICE other than $0.00.  Sku's will be printed in the same sort order as the currently selected sort order on the Margin Master screen.

Displayed Changes: Selecting this will Print/Export ALL Sku's that have a FUTURE PRICE other than $0.00 that are currently displayed in the Sku list on the Margin Master screen. These Sku's will be Printed/Exported in the same sort order as they are currently displayed.

Change Records to Print: By entering a range of records in this section, you can specify a range of records that you want to Print/Export. For example, printing from 1 to 500 will Print/Export the first 500 records.  This feature used in conjunction with the sort option on the Margin Master screen can result in some powerful lists of Sku's. For example: Sorting the items by impact - descending, then printing from record 1 to 1000 will Print/Export the 1000 Sku's that will have the greatest impact to your bottom line.  The number in Parenthesis indicates the total number of records contained in the selection.
