Exporting to MM/NonServer PC
EXPORTING FROM ROCKSOLID TO MARGIN MASTER
In the RockSolid system, under the “Product Information” menu, click on the “Margin Master” icon.
Click on the “export to Margin Master” button. Confirm by clicking “yes” on the pop up window. The transfer begins, and can take 10 minutes or more. When it is finished, a window will pop up that says “exporting to margin master was successful”. Click OK.
Open up “my network places” and click on the folder labeled “rock on server” (or whatever the name of your server PC is) to open the window. Locate the “rocksolid.rs” file in the folder. It should show that the file was just created (today’s date). Leave the folder open.
Explore from the start menu or click on “my computer” and open up the rock folder on the local machine. The location is C:\program files\rock. Leave the folder open.
Drag the “rocksolid.rs” file from the server folder to the local machine folder (they should both be open). If it asks you if you want to replace the old one with the new one, click yes. Minimize the two folders.
Open Margin Master. You should see the “rocksolid.rs” file listed and waiting to be processed. Click process. It will then process the file and build the .mm database.
You now have updated store data.
