Backing up the Database File
This file is called C:\MarginMaster\MarginMaster.MM. This file is automatically backed up when new versions are installed. Also, the more important thing is that this file is not important as all of the information it contains can easily be recreated by importing new store data, and new vendor data at any time.
You can also manually back up the database file similar to backing up the Pricing Strategy. Once you have located the correct file you would copy it to either a flash or thumb drive. Below you will see that the highlighted file is the database file. One thing to note is that the program must be closed otherwise you will receive an error message that the file is currently in use.
